A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE ON CULEBRA
There are many beautiful rental homes on the island of Culebra, but only one is situated directly on Zoni Beach. You can walk down your yard to enjoy the warm, soft sand and crystal clear, turquoise waters at any time of the day or night. Zoni Beach House is located on the undeveloped, windward side of Culebra where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. You are 75 yards away from great swimming, snorkeling, castle building, boogie boarding and beach combing on this beautiful, 3/4 mile long beach. There is nothing else like it on the island.
Relax or dine on the shaded terrace overlooking the beach. Your view will include the islands of Culebrita, Cayo Norte and St. Thomas as well as ships passing in the distance. At night the stars have no competition from sources of light other than the moon. It's a perfect location for stargazing or moonlight strolls.
Zoni Beach is a nesting site for giant Leatherback turtles. We rarely see these huge turtles laying since it happens in the middle of the night. However, during the hatching season, the baby turtles can sometimes be seen making their way to the sea in the early morning.
The house has two separate units, upper and lower. Caretakers often reside in the lower unit in high season. The solid construction ensures quiet separation of the units. With less than a dozen neighbors, your days and nights will be quiet, interrupted only by the sound of the surf.

This peaceful, beachfront house is about 15 minutes from Culebra's only town, so a rental car is needed. Since our domestic water source is rainfall captured in a cistern, guests are asked to be conservative with water use. Drinking water is purchased in town. Hot water is available only in the showers, typical of most island homes. The house is cooled by ocean breezes although portable fans are provided as well as air conditioning in some bedrooms. Smoking and pets are not permitted, though the Zoni Beach golden retrievers are often to be found on the beach.
Read, nap on the beach or terrace, listen to the birds and surf; snorkel, swim or boogie board; walk the length of beautiful Zoni Beach; or scramble on the rocks at the end of the beach. Later take a drive and explore this lovely island. Discover the world class beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and hiking that make Culebra special. You can do something different every day of your visit, or simply hang out at your house on the beach.

Minimum stay is 5 nights. $500.00 damage deposit required. Half of rent required to reserve and remainder due 1 month before arrival. Credit cards not accepted.
